Exhibition Chad Bilyeu at the Grachenmuseum

The Grachtenmuseum in Amsterdam presents Chad in Amsterdam an exhibition by American writer, art director and photographer Chad Bilyeu. He came to Amsterdam 14 years ago and began to record his observations and adventures in a series of comic strips with increasingly new artists and comic cartoonists. They provide insight into the way newcomers see the city, but also hold up a mirror to Amsterdam residents themselves .On view from  April 18 to June In 2020, Chad created a blog series about the same topic for the John Adams.

Richard Avedon exhibition at Kunsthal Rotterdam

This summer, Kunsthal Rotterdam is presenting a large-scale retrospective of the American photographer Richard Avedon. With over a hundred and thirty photographs, the exhibition Richard Avedon: Relationships sheds light on Avedon’s groundbreaking contribution to fashion photography as well as his distinctive photographic portraits. From June 1st to October 6th.
