De meivakantie is gevuld met familieactiviteiten! Op zaterdag 27 april ontdekken jonge cultuurliefhebbers (6 t/m 12 jaar) de kunstenaar in zichzelf tijdens de Kinderkunstclub. Een week later op 4 mei, nemen kinderen tijdens de Familiekunstclub volwassenen mee op ontdekkingstocht door het museum. Daarna maken ze samen een kunstwerk.
In de collectiepresentatie Dwarsverbanden mogen kinderen meer dan kijken alleen: hier kunnen ze kunst ruiken, voelen en horen! Met de gratis Familietour via smartphone gaan ze op een uitdagende ontdekkingstocht door alle zalen. Meer weten over de tentoonstellingen? Sluit aan bij de dagelijkse rondleiding om 13:30 uur. Je hebt nog iets meer dan twee weken om door de dromerige films, collages en tekeningen van Sung Hwan Kim te dwalen. De poëtische tentoonstelling Protected by roof and right-hand muscles is ook leuk voor jonge bezoekers: met het interactieve Doeboek ontdekken ze hoe de kunstwerken te interpreteren vanuit hun eigen ervaringen zoals herinneringen. | |

The May holidays are filled with family activities! On Saturday 27 April, young culture lovers (aged 6 to 12) will discover the artist in themselves during the Children's Art Club. A week later on 4 May, children and adults both embark on a journey of discovery in the museum during the Family Art Club. Afterwards, they create an artwork together.
In the collection display Delinking and Relinking, children are allowed to do more than just look: here they can smell, feel and hear art! Via smartphone, the free Family Tour takes them on an adventure on the many floors of the museum. Want to find out more about the exhibitions? Join the daily guided tour at 2:30pm (Dutch language). At the end of your visit, take a seat at the outside terrace of Museumcafé Karel I where you can enjoy a snack, drink and the view. | |
